Simple setup

Start with a plain-language format. You can fine-tune the same game data under Advanced settings.

Competition format

Everyone plays everyone once, then the table decides the order.

Splits

Winter, Spring, Summer — each is one stretch of the year. The list order is the year: first split on top. Dates are only shown in the calendar when the stored data supports them.

How this split is played

Each stage feeds the next. A cup is often groups then knockout. A Swiss cut is Swiss then knockout.

Teams enter the first stage. The best move on. The last stage decides the winner.

Name

Regular season, groups, finals — whatever you call this stretch.

How it's played

A bracket. Lose and you are out — unless you give them a losers' bracket.

Starts on matchday

1 is the opening of this split. Later stages must start on a later day than the one before.

Series

How long each match in this stage is.

Teams in the bracket

Single elimination accepts any field. Double elimination ships routes for 4, 6, 7, 8, or 10 teams.

Bracket

Single: lose and you are out. Double: you drop to a losers' bracket first.

Final series

Leave as the rest of the bracket, or make the final longer.

Odd team out

If the field is odd, or the bracket is short of a power of two, someone has to sit a round.

Who goes through

This stage decides the winner. Nobody moves on after it.

Who plays here

Later stages take the teams that survived the one before.
